Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data Circle processes through Black Moon, why, and what your rights are (GDPR).
1. Data controller

2. Data collected
Account data (name, email, phone, language, hashed password or sign-in provider identifier); identity verification (KYC) data where required; usage and portfolio data (strategies, bots, orders, positions, asset operations); billing data (processed by Stripe); technical data (IP address, security logs, browser type).
3. Purposes and legal bases
Providing the service and performing the contract (account, subscription, orders, notifications); meeting our legal obligations (identity verification, fraud and anti-money-laundering controls, accounting); ensuring security and preventing abuse (legitimate interest); sending marketing communications only with your consent.
4. Recipients and processors
Your data is accessible only to authorised Circle staff and to our providers, within the limits of their task: payment (Stripe), email delivery, notifications (Telegram, if you enable them), broker connection (SnapTrade, if you link an account), authentication (Google, if you use it), hosting and file storage. We do not sell your data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active. On closure, deletion is final after a 30-day grace period, except for data we are legally required to keep (billing, identity verification) for the statutory periods.
6. Transfers outside the EU
Some providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision) are in place.
7. Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. From Settings > Privacy you can export your data, manage your consents and close your account. For any request: contact@black-moon.tech. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
8. Cookies
Black Moon uses strictly necessary cookies (session, security, language preference). No advertising cookies are set.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted traffic, access control, two-factor authentication available). No measure is infallible, so please report any incident to contact@black-moon.tech.
